This show needs your undivided attention
I rarely leave reviews but after seeing some of the confusing negatives here I had to share my thoughts. If you're looking to have something in the background while you scroll through your phone, this isn't the show for you.
Alfonso Cuarón's signature style is evident throughout and the direction is striking
His use of long, immersive scenes combined with great performances by the cast, great sound design and stunning cinematography make for an incredible viewing experience. Some viewers just don't seem to have the patience or attention span to follow the plot.
If you're still confused, episode 2 should help clarify some things, so far this show has been fantastic
Episode 1 throws you into the action without much detail, but if you pay close attention to the dialogue and watch the show, things start to fall into place. If it maintains this level of quality till the end, it has the potential to become a cult classic in the years to come.
